Is Hemp the same as Marijuana?
A German Shepard is not the same as a Toy Poodle, but they are both Canis Familiaris. Likewise, the Cannabis species include many non THC industrial hemp varieties. There are distinct strains of hemp that were valued as primary resources for thousands of years. A return to hemp agriculture is a return to community based economies, non-toxic biodegradable products, closed loop carbon cycles, and a sustainable future.
Our boards and clothing are Built To Last, thus you will need to buy less in your lifetime. This is less profitable in the short term, but is good for everyone in the long term. Buy less , Surf more. This is good for the planet and future generations.

2. July 2006: U.S. Hemp Co Museum gets front page article on Local section of the Santa Cruz

3. September 2006: Surfer's Journal Article introducing the Hemp Surfboards that spawn from
the U.S. Hemp Co. Museum in downtown Santa Cruz, CA. The U.S. Hemp Surf Team is
established.
4.September, 2006: U.S. Hemp is the main sponsor for the 2006 Disc & Dig Disc Golf and
Volleyball tournament. Hemp T-shirts are a huge hit.
5. October 2007: Surfing Magazine Green Issue: Full page feature article on the new Hemp
Boards being made by U.S. Hemp Co.
6. May 2008: U.S. Hemp Co. sponsors hemp gift bags and attends season finale party for
Showtime's series Weeds. hemp T-shirts, bags and stickers are very well received by the cast
and crew.
7. April, 2009: U.S. Hemp Co. donates a hemp surfboard to Save Our Waves Coalition and
attends annual benefit event in San Francisco, CA.
8. June 2009: U.S. Hemp Co. surfboard and products featured and raffled at the MPP's Annual
Playboy Mansion Party to benefit the Marijuana Policy Project's ongoing efforts to establish
patient's rights as U.S. Law.
9. U.S. Hemp has built a coalition of groups and businesses ready to help bring hemp forward.

We were planting seeds at DR. GREENTHUMB AND TOMMY CHONG'S SPRING GATHERING on May 8th . Many ATENDEES were astonished to hear of the myriad of uses for the Cannabis plant.
